Ellis FRANKLIN

PhD Student | Bioinformatics

I’m a PhD student at the Université de Lorraine, focusing on the bioinformatic side of ecotoxicology.

My research centers on improving transcriptomics data analysis in dose-response and time-dose-response frameworks, with the goal of creating reproducible, accessible, and tailored tools for the (eco)toxicology community. These tools aim to enhance hypothesis generation and experimental planning.

I conduct my research between the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Environnements (LIEC) in Metz and the Laboratoire de Biométrie et Biologie Évolutive (LBBE) in Lyon.

I’m passionate about creating ✨ magic ✨ with R, Quarto and other tools that promote reproducible research.
